purposes for which funds from the rural housing insurance fund may be used Sec. 506. Section 517(j) of the Housing Act of 1949 is amended— (1) by striking out “and” at the end of paragraph (3); (2) by striking out the period at the end of paragraph (4) and inserting in lieu thereof a semicolon; and (3) by adding at the end thereof the following new paragraphs: “(5) after October 1, 1977, and as approved in appropriations Acts, to make advances authorized by section 501(e); and “(6) after October 1, 1977, and as approved in appropriations Acts, to make the expenditures authorized by section 509(c).”.
