computation of employee annuities Sec. 358. (a) The last sentence of section 3(f) (1) of the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 is amended— (1) by inserting “paid before 1978” after “in the case of wages”, and (2) by inserting “and in the case of wages paid after 1977” before the period at the end thereof. (b) The amendments made by this section shall be effective January 1, 1978.
