composition of board Sec. 303. Section 3(b) of the Board for International Broadcasting Act of 1973 (22 U.S.C. 2872(b)) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1) — (A) by amending the first sentence to read as follows: “The Board shall consist of seven members, two of whom shall be ex officio members.”; and (B) by striking out “of RFE/RL, Incorporated, shall be an ex officio member” in the last sentence and inserting in lieu thereof “and the chairman of the Board of Directors of RFE/RL, Incorporated, shall be ex officio members”; and (2) by amending paragraph (4) to read as follows: “(4) Term of office of ex officio members.— An ex officio member of the Board shall serve on the Board during his or her term of service as chief operating executive or as chairman of the Board of Directors of RFE/RL, Incorporated, as the case may be.”.
