General Provisions—Department of Commerce Sec. 302. During the current fiscal year applicable appropriations and funds available to the Department of Commerce shall be available for the activities specified in the Act of October 26, 1949 (15 U.S.C. 1514), to the extent and in the manner prescribed by said Act. Sec. 303. During the current fiscal year appropriations to the Department of Commerce which are available for salaries and expenses shall be available for hire of passenger motor vehicles; services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109; and uniforms or allowances therefor, as authorized by law (5 U.S.C. 5901–5902). Sec. 304. No part of any appropriation contained in this title shall be used for construction of any ship in any foreign country. Sec. 305. No part of any appropriation contained in this title shall be obligated or expended for promoting or conducting trade relations with Cuba. This title may be cited as the “Department of Commerce Appropriation Act, 1979”.
