General Administration salaries and expenses For expenses necessary for the administration of the Department of Justice, including hire of passenger motor vehicles; and miscellaneous and emergency expenses authorized or approved by the Attorney General or the Assistant Attorney General for Administration; $28,474,000, of which $5,111,000 is for the United States Parole Commission and $1,700,000 is for the Federal justice research program, the latter amount to remain available until expended.
