Sec. 407. (a) Property acquired by the Secretary under this Act for use in furtherance of the purposes of this Act may be conveyed to a cooperating institute, educational institution, or nonprofit organization in accordance with the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949, as amended. (b) The Secretary may dispose of water and byproducts resulting from his operations under this Act. All moneys received from dispositions under this Act shall be paid into the Treasury as miscellaneous receipts except where such operations may be undertaken as a part of a Federal reclamation project in which case the financial provisions of the reclamation laws (82 Stat. 388 and Acts amendatory thereof and supplementary thereto) shall govern.
