Section 201 of the Department of Defense Appropriation Authorization Act, 1978 (Public Law 95–79, 91 Stat. 323), is amended by striking out “, but such $15,700,000 may not be obligated or expended until at least one member country of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (other than the United States) enters into a contract to purchase the AWACS aircraft”.
