extension of authority for special pay for health professionals Sec. 801. (a) The second sentence of section 2 of the Act entitled “An Act to amend chapter 5 of title 37, United States Code, to revise the special pay structure relating to medical officers of the uniformed services”, approved May 6, 1974 (88 Stat. 96; 37 U.S.C. 302 note), is amended to read as follows: “The authority for the special pay provided by the amendments made by the first section of this Act shall expire on September 30, 1980.”. (b) Sections 302a(c) and 303(c) of title 37, United States Code, are each amended by striking out “September 1978” and inserting in lieu thereof “September 1980”.
