military training for female undergraduates at military colleges Sec. 809. (a) The Secretary of Defense shall require that any college or university designated by the Secretary of Defense as a military college shall, as a condition of maintaining such designation, provide that qualified female undergraduate students enrolled in such college or university be eligible to participate in military training at such college or university, but, notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Secretary of Defense may not require that, as a condition of maintaining such designation or for any other purpose, such college or university require female undergraduate students enrolled in such college or university to participate in military training. (b) The Secretary of Defense shall prescribe such regulations as the Secretary determines necessary or appropriate to carry out the provisions of this section.
