Effective Date of Amendments; Transition Rules.—

Sec. 607. Effective Date of Amendments; Transition Rules.—(a) Effective Date.—The amendments made by sections 601 through 606 shall take effect October 1, 1992. (b) States Eligible for Basic Grants Under Section 410 Before Date of Enactment.—A State that received a basic grant in fiscal year 1992 under section 410 of title 23, United States Code, as in effect on September 30, 1992, and that continues to meet the criteria for a basic grant, as in effect on September 30, 1992, shall be eligible for a basic grant under such section 410, as amended by this title. This Act may be cited as the “Department of Transportation and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 1993”.
