statement of policy Sec. 202. (a) Section 3(5) (A) of the Export Administration Act of 1969 is amended by inserting immediately after “United States” the following: “or against any United States person”. (b) Section 3(5) (B) of such Act is amended to read as follows: “(B) to encourage and, in specified cases, to require United States persons engaged in the export of articles, materials, supplies, or information to refuse to take actions, including furnishing information or entering into or implementing agreements, which have the effect of furthering or supporting the restrictive trade practices or boycotts fostered or imposed by any foreign country against a country friendly to the United States or against any United States person,”.
