technology export study Sec. 119. (a) The President, acting through the Secretary of Commerce, the Secretary of Labor, and the International Trade Commission, shall conduct a study of the domestic economic impact of exports from the United States of industrial technology whose export requires a license under the Export Administration Act of 1969. Such study shall include an evaluation of current exporting patterns on the international competitive position of the United States in advanced industrial technology fields and an evaluation of the present and future effect of these exports on domestic employment. (b) The results of the study conducted pursuant to subsection (a) will be reported to the Congress within one year after the date of enactment of this Act.
