(a) Of the funds appropriated by this Act to carry out chapter 1 of part I and chapter 4 of part II of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 not less than $10,000,000 shall be made available for Lebanon and may be provided in accordance with the general authorities contained in section 491 of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, of which not less than $6,000,000 shall be derived from funds appropriated to carry out chapter 1 of part I and not less than $4,000,000 shall be derived from funds appropriated to carry out chapter 4 of part II. (b) All deliveries to Lebanon of equipment purchased with Foreign Military Financing credits or grants shall be subject to the regular notification procedures of the Committees on Appropriations.
