Sense of the Congress.—
Sec. 627. Sense of the Congress.— It is the sense of the Congress that— Whereas Congressman Edward R. Roybal has shown leadership, dedication, and diligence as Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Treasury, Postal Service, and General Government; Whereas Congressman Edward R. Roybal has inspired a spirit of cooperation and consensus among the members of his Appropriation’s Subcommittee during difficult deliberations; and Whereas Congressman Edward R. Roybal has demonstrated patience, good humor, and professional courtesy as a Member of the House of Representatives, as Chairman of the Select Committee on Aging, and as Chairman of the House Treasury, Postal Service, and General Government Subcommittee on Appropriations, the House of Representatives and the United States Senate commend Representative Edward R. Roybal for his record of distinguished service.
