Sec. 109. (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Attorney General, in consultation with the Secretary of the Treasury, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and other appropriate banking regulatory agencies, shall conduct a study of the effect of amending the Financial Right to Privacy Act (12 U.S.C. 3415) to allow nondepository licensed transmitters of dims to be reimbursed to the same extent as financial institutions 106 STAT. 1842under that Act, and report the results of such study to the Congress by April 1, 1993. (b) The Attorney General, acting through the Director of the National Institute of Justice, shall: (1) evaluate existing and proposed anti-stalking legislation in the States, (2) develop model anti-stalking legislation that is constitutional and enforceable, (3) prepare and disseminate to State authorities the findings made as a result of such evaluation, and (4) report to the Congress the findings and the need or appropriateness of further action by the Federal Government by September 30, 1993.
