SEC. 3241. SPECIAL GRANT RULES. (a) Grant Conditions.—(1) Federal funds paid under this part shall supplement, not supplant, other resources available to the grantee. (2) Financial assistance made under this part is not intended to be used for the acquisition of capital equipment as a primary purpose. (b) Distribution of Funds.—(1) At least 25 percent of the funds appropriated for the Fund in any fiscal year shall be used for grants to applicants described in section 3212(a)(2)(A). (2) Grants to a single school as described in section 3212(a)(2)(A) may not be less than $5,000 nor more than $125,000 in any fiscal year. (3) No grant may be made for more than a 3-year period.
