MANUFACTURING EXTENSION PROGRAMS.

SEC. 4233. MANUFACTURING EXTENSION PROGRAMS. (a) Transfer and Redesignation of Section.—Section 2517 of title 10, United States Code, is transferred to subchapter IV of chapter 148, inserted after section 2522 of such title (as added by section 4232), and redesignated as section 2523. (b) Furtherance of National Security Objectives.—Subsection (b)(1) of section 2623, as redesignated by subsection (a), is amended in the matter before subparagraph (A) by inserting “,in order to further the national security objectives set forth in section 2501(a) of this title,” after “shall”. (c) Funding.—Of the amount authorized to be appropriated in section 201 for Defense Agencies, $100,000,000 shall be available for support of manufacturing extension programs under section 2523 of title 10, United States Code, as redesignated by section 4233.
