SEC. 2033. DISASTER ASSISTANCE. (a) General Rule.—Section 16(a)(1) of the Act of September 23, 1950 (Public Law 815, Eighty-first Congress) is amended— (1) by striking out subparagraph (B); (2) by striking out “or” at the end of subparagraph (A) and inserting in lieu thereof “and”; and (3) by striking out the subparagraph designation “(A)”. (b) Eligibility.—Section 16(a)(5) of such Act is amended by striking out “$1,000 or one-half of 1 per centum” and inserting in lieu thereof “$10,000 or 5 per centum”.
