SEC. 2017. DISASTER ASSISTANCE. (a) General Rule.—Section 7(a)(1) of the Act is amended— (1) by striking out subparagraph (B); 102 STAT. 300 (2) by striking out “or” at the end of subparagraph (A) and inserting in lieu thereof “and”; and (3) by striking out the subparagraph designation “(A)”. (b) Eligibility.—Section 7(a)(3) of the Act is amended by striking out “$1,000 or one-half of 1 per centum” and inserting in lieu thereof “$10,000 or 5 per centum”. (c) Availability of Funds.—Section 7 of the Act is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new subsection (f): “(f) Funds available for this section for any fiscal year shall also be available for section 16 of the Act of September 23, 1950 (Public Law 815, Eighty-first Congress).”.
