CONFORMING AMENDMENTS.

SEC. 2504. CONFORMING AMENDMENTS. Section 638 of the Head Start Act (42 U.S.C. 9833) is amended— (1) by inserting “(a)” after “Sec. 638.”; and (2) by adding at the end thereof the following: “(b) For purposes of providing financial assistance under subsection (a) to agencies, the Secretary may not take into consideration whether such agency applies for or receives funds under subchapter E.”.
