SEC. 703. PARTICIPATION OF THE DIRECTOR OF CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL Section 101 of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 402) is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new subsection: “(h) The Director of Central Intelligence (or, in the Director’s absence, the Deputy Director of Central Intelligence) may, in the performance of the Director’s duties under this Act and subject to the direction of the President, attend and participate in meetings of the National Security Council.”.
