DEFINITION OF MORTGAGEE.

SEC. 519. DEFINITION OF MORTGAGEE.Section 202(c) of the National Housing Act (12 U.S.C. 1708(c)) is amended— (1) by striking paragraph (6)(D); and (2) by redesignating paragraph (7) as paragraph (8), and inserting the following after paragraph (6): 106 STAT. 3793 “(7) Definition of ‘mortgagee’.— For purposes of this sub-section, the term ‘mortgagee’ means— “(A) a mortgagee approved under this Act; “(B) a lender or a loan correspondent approved under title I of this Act; “(C) a branch office or subsidiary of the mortgagee, lender, or loan correspondent; or “(D) a director, officer, employee, agent, or other person participating in the conduct of the affairs of the mortgagee, lender, or loan correspondent.”.
