EXTENSION OF COPAYMENT PROGRAMS.

SEC. 606. EXTENSION OF COPAYMENT PROGRAMS. (a) Medication Copayment Requirement.— Section 1722A(c) is amended by adding at the end the following new sentence: “Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, the provisions of subsection (a) shall be in effect through September 30, 1997.”. (b) Health-Care Categories and Copayments.— Section 8013(e) of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 (Public Law 101–508) is amended by adding at the end the following new sentence: “Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, the amendments made by this section shall be in effect through September 30, 1997”.
