LAND EXCHANGE, ALLATOONA LAKE, GEORGIA.

SEC. 325. LAND EXCHANGE, ALLATOONA LAKE, GEORGIA. (a) In General.— The Secretary may initiate a program to exchange lands above 863 feet in elevation which are excess to the operational needs of Allatoona Lake, Georgia, for lands on the north side of Allatoona Lake which are needed for wildlife management and for protection of the water quality and overall environment of Allatoona Lake. (b) Terms and Conditions.— Land exchanges under the program to be conducted under subsection (a) shall be subject to e following terms and conditions: (1) Lands acquired under the program must be contiguous to the lands in Federal Government ownership on the date of the enactment of this Act. (2) Lands acquired under the program shall be from willing sellers only. 106 STAT. 4850 (3) The basis for all land exchanges under the program shall be a fair market appraisal so that lands exchanged are of equal value.
