SEC. 109. COLUMBIA, SNAKE, AND CLEARWATER RIVERS. (a) Dredging.— The Secretary is authorized to maintain navigation access to, and berthing areas at, all currently operating public and private commercial dock facilities associated with or having access to the Federal navigation project on the Columbia, Snake, and Clearwater Rivers from Bonneville Dam to and including Lewis-106 STAT. 4817ton, Idaho, at a depth commensurate with the Federal navigation project. (b) Exemption From Liability.— The Federal Government is exempted from any liability for damages to public and private facilities resulting from work performed under this section, including any damages to docks adjacent to the access channel and berthing areas.
