SEC. 135. MEDICAL RESEARCH. Section 4101(c)(1) is amended by striking out the parenthetical phrase and inserting in lieu thereof “(including biomedical, mental illness, prosthetic and other rehabilitative, and health-care-services research and stressing research into spinal-cord injuries and other diseases that lead to paralysis of the lower extremities and research into injuries and illnesses particularly related to service)”.
