SEC. 224. STANDARD EXTREMELY HIGH FREQUENCY WAVEFORM. The Secretary of Defense, acting through the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology, shall establish a single standard for all components of the Department of Defense for the set of waveforms to be used for medium data rate (MDR) communications using an extremely high frequency (EHF) band.
