SEC. 905. ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF DEFENSE FOR LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS. Section 138(b) of title 10, United States Code, as redesignated by section 901(a)(1), is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: “(5) One of the Assistant Secretaries shall be the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs. He shall have as his principal duty the overall supervision of legislative affairs of the Department of Defense.”.
