CONTINUATION OF PILOT PROJECT TO IMPROVE ECONOMIC ADJUSTMENT PLANNING.

SEC. 1323. CONTINUATION OF PILOT PROJECT TO IMPROVE ECONOMIC ADJUSTMENT PLANNING. (a) Continuation of Program.—Subsection (a) of section 4302 of the Defense Conversion, Reinvestment, and Transition Assistance Act of 1992 (division D of Public Law 102–484; 10 U.S.C. 2391 107 STAT. 1791note) is amended by striking out “fiscal year 1993” and inserting in lieu thereof “fiscal years 1993 and 1994”. (b) Funding For Fiscal Year 1994.—Of the amount made available pursuant to section 1302(a) for defense conversion, reinvestment, and transitional assistance programs, not more than $1,000,000 shall be made available to continue the pilot project required under section 4302 of the Defense Conversion, Reinvestment, and Transition Assistance Act of 1992 (division D of Public Law 102–484; 10 U.S.C. 2391 note) with respect to those projects involving relieving the adverse effects upon a community from a combination of the closure or realignment of a military installation and changes in the mission of a national laboratory.
