SEC. 685. TREASURY FORFEITURE FUND. Section 9703 of title 31, United States Code (as added by Public Law 102–393), is amended— (1) by redesignating subparagraphs (E), (F), (G), (H), and (I) of subsection (a)(2) as subparagraphs (F), (G), (H), (I), and (J), respectively; (2) by inserting after subparagraph (D) of subsection (a)(2) the following new subparagraph: “(E) the payment of claims against employees of the Customs Service settled by the Secretary under section 630 of the Tariff Act of 1930;”; and (3) by striking out “shall” the first place it appears in subsection (e) and inserting “may”.
