AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.

SEC. 241. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. (a) National Education Goals Panel.—There are authorized to be appropriated $3,000,000 for fiscal year 1994, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the four succeeding fiscal years, to carry out part A of this title. (b) National Education Standards and Improvement Council.—There are authorized to be appropriated $3,000,000 for fiscal year 1994, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 1995 through 1998, to carry out part B of this title. (c) Opportunity-To-Learn Development Grants.—There are authorized to be appropriated $2,000,000 for fiscal year 1994, and such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 1995, to carry out section 219. (d) Assessment Development and Evaluation Grants.—There are authorized to be appropriated $5,000,000 for fiscal year 108 STAT. 1571994, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the 4 succeeding fiscal years, to carry out section 220.
