SEC. 201. PARTICIPATION BY STATE AGENCIES OR INSTRUMENTALITIES. Section 104(2) of the CranstonGonzalez National Affordable Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 12704(2)) is amended— (1) by striking “and” after “Columbia,”; and (2) by inserting before the period at the end the following: “, or any agency or instrumentality thereof that is established pursuant to legislation and designated by the chief executive 108 STAT. 364officer to act on behalf of the State with regard to the provisions of this Act”.
