SEC. 424. UNITED STATES MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASIAN-PACIFIC ECONOMIC COOPERATION ORGANIZATION. (a) United States Membership.— The President is authorized to maintain membership of the United States in the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). (b) Payment of Assessed Contributions.— For fiscal year 1994 and for each fiscal year thereafter, the United States assessed contributions to APEC may be paid from funds appropriated for “Contributions to International Organizations”.
