SEC. 505. SENSE OF THE SENATE CONCERNING INSPECTOR GENERAL ACT. It is the sense of the Senate that— (1) there is a growing concern among some of the Members of this body that the unlimited terms of Office of Inspectors General in Federal agencies may be undesirable, therefore (2) the issue of amending the Inspector General Act to establish term limits for Inspectors General should be examined and considered as soon as possible by the appropriate committees of jurisdiction.
