ADVANCED LANDING SYSTEM.

SEC. 504. ADVANCED LANDING SYSTEM. Notwithstanding any other provision of law or regulation, the Administrator shall consider for approval under part 171 of title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, the new generation, low cost, advanced landing system being developed by the Department of Defense. The charter for approval of such system shall be considered and acted upon expeditiously by the Federal Aviation Administration in the region where such system is being developed.
