Equal Employment Opportunity Commission salaries and expenses For necessary expenses of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as authorized by title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended (29 U.S.C. 206(d) and 621–634), the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Civil Rights Act of 1991, including services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109; hire of passenger motor vehicles as authorized by 31 U.S.C. 1343(b); nonmonetary awards to private citizens; not to exceed $26,500,000, for payments to State and local enforcement agencies for services to the Commission pursuant to title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, sections 6 and 14 of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Civil Rights Act of 1991; $233,000,000: Provided, That the Commission is authorized to make available for official reception and representation expenses not to exceed $2,500 from available funds: Provided further, That of the budgetary resources available in fiscal year 1995 in this account, $242,000 are permanently canceled: Provided further, That amounts available for procurement and procurement-related expenses in this account are reduced by such amount: Provided further, That as used herein, “procurement” includes all stages of the process of acquiring property or services, beginning with the process of determining a need for a product or services and ending with contract completion and closeout, as specified in 41 U.S.C. 403(2).
