contributions for international peacekeeping activities For necessary expenses to pay assessed and other expenses of international peacekeeping activities directed to the maintenance or restoration of international peace and security, $533,304,000, of which not to exceed $288,000,000 is available to pay arrearages accumulated in fiscal year 1994 and not to exceed $23,092,000 is available to pay other outstanding arrearages: Provided, That funds shall be available for peacekeeping expenses only upon a certification by the Secretary of State to the appropriate committees of the Congress that American manufacturers and suppliers are being given opportunities to provide equipment, services and material for United Nations peacekeeping activities equal to those being given to foreign manufacturers and suppliers.
