SEC. 374. SHIPS’ STORES. (a) Extension of Deadline for Conversion.— Section 371(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1994 (Public Law 103–160; 107 Stat. 1634; 10 U.S.C. 7604 note) is amended by striking out “October 1, 1994” and inserting in lieu thereof “December 31, 1995”. (b) Modification of Effective Date.— Section 371(d) of such Act is amended by striking out “shall take effect on the date on which the Secretary of the Navy completes the conversion referred to in subsection (a)” and inserting in lieu thereof “shall take effect on October 1, 1994”.
