SEC. 717. IMPLEMENTATION OF ANNUAL HEALTH CARE SURVEY REQUIREMENT. Section 724 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1993 (Public Law 102–484; 106 Stat. 2440; 10 U.S.C. 1071 note) is amended— (1) by redesignating subsection (b) as subsection (c); and (2) by inserting after subsection (a) the following new subsection (b): “(b) Exemption.— An annual survey under subsection (a) shall be treated as not a collection of information for the purposes for which such term is defined in section 3502(4) of title 44, United States Code.”.
