SEC. 734. ORAL TYPHOID VACCINE INVENTORY OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE. (a) Number of Doses for Inventory.— The Secretary of Defense shall direct that the number of doses of oral typhoid vaccine purchased for inventory by the Department of Defense during a fiscal year be not less than the number of doses of parenteral injection typhoid vaccine purchased for inventory by the Department during that fiscal year. 108 STAT. 2812 (b) Waiver.— The Secretary of Defense may waive the applicability of subsection (a) for a fiscal year if the Secretary determines that the waiver is necessary for medical reasons and notifies Congress of the reasons for the waiver.
