SEC. 604. TEMPORARY FAMILY HOUSING OR TEMPORARY HOUSING ALLOWANCES FOR DEPENDENTS OF MEMBERS WHO DIE IN THE LINE OF DUTY. (a) Temporary Housing.— Section 403(l)(l) of title 37, United States Code, is amended by striking out “90 days” and inserting in lieu thereof “180 days”. (b) Temporary Housing Allowances.— Section 403(1)(2) of such title is amended by striking out “90 days” both places it appears and inserting in lieu thereof “180 days”. (c) Effective Date.— The amendments made by this section shall take effect as of October 1, 1993.
