SEC. 639. FORFEITURE OF ANNUITY OR RETIRED PAY OF MEMBERS CONVICTED OF ESPIONAGE UNDER UCMJ. (a) Forfeiture.— Section 8312(b)(2)(A) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by striking out “or article 106 (spies)” and inserting in lieu thereof “, article 106 (spies), or article 106a (espionage)”. (b) Effective Date.— The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act and shall apply to persons convicted of espionage under section 906a of title 10, United States Code (article 106a of the Uniform Code of Military Justice), on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
