SEC. 1032. REQUIREMENT FOR SECRETARY OF DEFENSE TO SUBMIT RECOMMENDATIONS ON CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF LAW CONCERNING MISSING PERSONS. (a) Review.— The Secretary of Defense shall conduct a review of the provisions of chapter 10 of title 37, United States Code, relating to missing persons. (b) Report.— Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to Congress a report containing the Secretary’s recommendations as to whether those provisions of law should be amended. (c) Consultation.— The review under subsection (a) shall be carried out in consultation with the Secretaries of the military departments.
