SEC. 1053. CLARIFICATION OF APPROVAL AUTHORITY FOR USE OF PROCEDURES OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Section 303(f)(1)(B)(i) of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (41 U.S.C. 253(f)(1)(B)(i)) is amended by inserting before the semicolon at the end the following: “or by an official referred to in clause (ii), (iii), or (iv)”.
