SEC. 909. DEFINITIONS. For purposes of this title— (1) the term “intelligence agency” means any agency, office, or element of the intelligence community; (2) the term “intelligence community” shall have the same meaning as set forth in section 3(4) of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 401a(4)); and (3) the term “congressional intelligence committees” refers to the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives.
