SEC. 221. DEFINITION OF DISABILITY FOR CHILDREN UNDER AGE 18 APPLIED TO ALL INDIVIDUALS UNDER AGE 18. (a) In General.— Section 1614(a)(3) (42 U.S.C. 1382c(a)(3)) is amended— (1) in subparagraphs (A) and (H), by striking “a child” each place it appears and inserting “an individual”; and (2) in subparagraph (H), by striking “child” the second and third place it appears and inserting “individual”. (b) Effective Date.— The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply to determinations made on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
