SEC. 159. PERMANENT EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY TO CONTRACT WITH FISCAL INTERMEDIARIES AND CARRIERS ON OTHER THAN A COST BASIS. (a) In General.— Section 2326(a) of the Deficit Reduction Act of 1984, as amended by section 6215 of OBRA-1989, is amended in the third sentence by striking “during such period” and inserting “beginning with fiscal year 1990 and any subsequent fiscal year”. (b) Effective Date.— The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply beginning with fiscal year 1994.
