EL CENTRO RANGES.

SEC. 812. EL CENTRO RANGES. The Secretary is authorized to permit the Secretary of the Navy to use until January 1, 1997, the approximately forty-four thousand eight hundred and seventy acres of public lands in Imperial County, California, known as the East Mesa and West Mesa ranges, in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding dated June 29, 1987, between the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, and the Department of the Navy. All military uses of such lands shall cease on January 1, 1997, unless authorized by a subsequent Act of Congress.
