SEC. 801. ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE REGISTRY. (a) In General.— Section 12 of Public Law 99–158 (99 Stat. 885) is— (1) transferred to subpart 5 of part C of title IV of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 285e et seq.); (2) redesignated as section 445G; and (3) inserted after section 445F of such Act. (b) Technical and Conforming Amendments.— Section 445G of the Public Health Service Act, as transferred and inserted by subsection (a) of this section, is amended— (1) by striking the section heading and all that follows through “may make a grant” in subsection (a) and inserting the following: “alzheimer’s disease registry “Sec. 445G. (a) In General.— The Director of the Institute may make a grant”; and (2) by striking subsection (c).
