SEC. 504. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. Subpart 2 of part C of title IV of the Public Health Service Act, as amended by section 503 of this Act, is amended by adding at the end the following section: “authorization of appropriations “Sec. 425. For the purpose of carrying out this subpart, there are authorized to be appropriated $1,500,000,000 for fiscal year 1994, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 1995 and 1996.”.
